Birthday gift

Today I have made a pincushion. It is a birthday gift to my secret birthday buddy ;-)
I found the pattern on Gerry's blog, thanks Gerry !
The roses are stem-stitch roses. I used 7mm silk ribbon.
I hope she likes it when she get it.

Ati, this is beautiful!! I have now become inspired to do one, as these make really lovely little gifts! Have not gotten over to Gerry's site yet on my morning blog visits, so will be looking for this.

Oh, Ati it's just darling. The lace around the middle is a great touch. I'll have to use that idea :-) The roses are just stunning!!!! I wish I wasn't so afraid of trying SRE.

She's bound to like it! I love the stem stitch roses. You don't see them often.

Hi! I've been reading all you do and love your blog. This idea stands out to me and I'd like to make these for Christmas gifts. Can you show how you did the ribbon embroidery? Thank you so much

Hello, Ati. My name is Chris - I'm the anonymous who would love to have the pattern for the ribbon embroidery done on this pin cushion. I couldn't find your email address to send my info to. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I would feel better if I don't send my address this way. Let me know how to get that info to you. Thanks!

Hi Chris,I draw a circle, I use my timble for the size. start on this line on the outside with stemstitch and go in a spiral towards the centre. so easy. I use 7 mm. silk ribbon.
