Victorian Roses 5 and 6

While doing the TAST every week the Vic. Roses block get ready also.
The three I have left are also almost ready. I am looking forward to sew all nine together.
The bobbin lace pieces are made by me and the crochet items are from my grandmother.
Before I sew this crochet pieces on the quilt I will dye them in light tea, to get an "old look". They are too white now on those blocks.

Beautiful, Ati. Your stitching is devine! I would love to see the bobbin lace motif up close.

Both the round lace motifs are gorgeous. Tea-dying will make them the perfect color. The one in the bottom picture, though, would be alright next to the white stitches, I think. Maybe the one on top, too. All the laces and stitching are so pretty. You have a knack for picking the right stitch for a seam.

One of these days I'd love to come to Norway and visit you - sit and stitch together for a day or two. =)
