Bag for my DGD

This bag is made from two swap blocks, the first from the half/half swap ( made unknown) and the second from the spring fling swap ( made by Julie Coates). They both where 8 inch blocks.
I have made a handle and a pink lining in it. The bag is closed with a zipper.
I also added a few items myself on the first block.
Our grand daughter is nearly 5 years old now and she is a "pink" little lady :)
You always can click on the photos to enlarge.

These are so sweet! You have the BEST ideas, Ati. I need to get my pile of swap blocks out and do something with them.

The purse looks wonderful, and I absolutely love the handles you made. This is just perfect for a 5 yo Miss Pink person. =)

Ati: I too have a "little pink lady granddaughter"! Her name is Isabelle and she simple adores anything pink. She is a real girly-girl! The little purse is just adorable! What a great idea you have given me for a Christmas gift I can make for my Izzy!
