TIF february finished, side a

Here is my fabric page of the TIF challenge for the month February.
This side is made from fabric on the CQ style, the mop beads represent all the shells on the little beach from that lake we used to swim when we were kids.
It was called "de schelpenbocht", "the shell corner".
It was very safe for little ones because the bottom was shallow. Now that area of the lake is taken over by the surfers.
The size is 8" , 20 cm square.
As always you can click on the photo to enlarge.
