Swap block

This 6", 15 cm. square block is made for Jo in NZ.
In a little group we are in ,we do a block swap every three months.
Jo asked in the group for black blocks.
I used different black fabrics and took the teal color of one of the pieces to embellish the block.
I painted the lace butterfly light lilac with Ozecraft, it is more lilac in real than the photo.
Now it is flying to NZ. Hope you like it Jo.

It's beautiful! The wheel stitches remind me of some southwestern Indian designs. I just love every little thing you did! Jo is going to have another beautiful addition to her black blocks!
