What a lovely sight!! So far, my berries are in the freezer, and the slugs have eaten the beans...but they have left the squashes for us! I made a link to your blog yesterday about the post with info of rock carvings. I've spent a lot of time on that site!!
What a lovely sight to see Ati--it makes me think about when I was a child when my mother would make jams and preserves.
Oh Ati, I'm not even half way there and you are all done and dusted it seems.Please do tell me how you preserve your runner beans and do they taste better like this or when they are frozen? I have a fridge full of runner beans and we are eating them nearly every night! Trouble is I don't like them half as much after they have been frozen. What do you preserve them in? What is the liquid and how do you do it? Hope you can advise me, thanks Tricia
Yummie Ati, I don't have that much fruit this year, but beans I do have. What are runnerbeans? Is that a special kind of recipe for beans?
My goodness, you have been busy! My mother does quite a bit of canning and jam making. I know how but don't get much chance. Great stuff!
What a great site Ati! I just got finished canning some bread and butter pickles and grape jelly from grapes from my garden.
