Book

In July when we had the Norway gathering, Helinä brought with her this book and her tatting needles. We all could have a try and it was easier than I thought in the start.
A few weeks ago I ordered the book for myself and voila, here is my first try. I have started with crochet cotton and the thickest needle to see what I am doing. I will try to make little items for the CQ work.

Ati, your first try looks great! I learned how to needle tatt with that same book. Then I went on to try shuttle tatting. I can now shuttle tat, but only very simple patterns. Have fun!

Hello Ati, Your first attempt looks wonderful. I tried the shuttle with NO luck, maybe needles tatting would be easier??? I look forward to seeing more of your tatting. Hugs Judy

Ati, is it really more simple than I think? I always look at it as if it were superdifficult. Do you think I could make those lovely little tattings, too?

Oh, I meant to put a link in here for a tutorial for needle tatting, English only, sorry! I could NOT learn to tat with a shuttle, I guess I am just clumsy. Needle tatting was a lot easier.
