centre block Wisp quilt

The centre block of my WISP project. The size is 16 inch, 40 cm. square.

In the middle I wish to embroider a butterfly, but I have to search for a nice pattern.

This wisp project is only made from wool clothes.

I like to make this quilt in the old fashion style, no beads , buttons or lace.

In real the colors are much richer, it was very difficult to get a good photo .

Swap block

This 6", 15 cm. square block is made for Jo in NZ.
In a little group we are in ,we do a block swap every three months.
Jo asked in the group for black blocks.
I used different black fabrics and took the teal color of one of the pieces to embellish the block.
I painted the lace butterfly light lilac with Ozecraft, it is more lilac in real than the photo.
Now it is flying to NZ. Hope you like it Jo.

Encrusted RR home.

Yesterday my block came home from an Encrusted RR in the CQAW group.
It was sewn by me, embellished by: Lorenza, Italy. Emiko, Japan. Helinä, Finland and Jo, New Zealand.
They did together a wonderful job, Thank you all, it turned out beautiful!

Summer-bag

From the CQ block I finished a few weeks weeks ago, ( post March 21st) I have made a shopping bag. The backside is dark red and the lining is violet cotton. The size of the bag itself is 16", 41 cm square.
