A touch of Japan. 1/3

The first of three blocks with a "Japan" theme. I've got the fabrics from my internet friend Hideko from Japan.
The picture in the middle is a gift from an internet friend in the USA: Ingrid.
It was difficult to get a good photo because of the silk fabrics. The lower left corner is dark purple and the black large button has a very nice shape in the middle.
But I think you get an impression :-)
The block is 30cm, 12 inch square.
As always you can click on the photo to enlarge.

Beautiful Ati, somewhere I have a pattern for a bag made this way using the oriental picture and fabrics.

Ati, I love the way you have put the colors of this block together, and, of course, the beautiful stitching. Lynn in SoCal
