Ishbel shawl

Here is the ugly duckling.... It doesn't show much.
Blocked: became a swan :)

Made from 40 grams Fyberspates 2 ply, 50% merino 50% silk. Very thin yarn.
I used needles 3mm. The size is wide: 170 cm. 68 ". high: 77cm. 30".
I think I will knit it again one day with a bit thicker yarn and thicker needles, it will be a bit larger than, I hope.
The pattern is very nice and not too difficult. You can buy it on Raverly.
As always you can click on the photos to enlarge.

Everything here is so beautiful! I get tangled up when I knit...and once I tried crochete as my 'give up smoking' distraction...but alas I was tangled there too!

I was just updating my Pulp Redux post when your comment came through, thanks for your visit! I hope you do start your own book!

Your ishbel is wonderful! I have had one try on this shawl, but it got messed up, so mayby I'll make another try soon. You didn't have any problems with this pattern? By the way, are you a member of Ravelry, and in that case, what's your name there? My name is Lappetausa...

Groetjes Joke
