One half of my own fabric paper and the other half with silk ribbon embroidery.
Below the AA Anneke made for me.
The front tells about her hobbies: fabric art and knitting. She is a very talented lady but unfortunately she doesn't have a blog. So, I cannot show you more of her beautiful work.
Anneke, I know you read my blog and I like to thank you very much for this great page and for the poem you wrote on the back.

Here is my RR block. It came home yesterday after a tour around the world.
HERE you can see how I send it away in August last year.
We are in a little group: crazy quilters around the world.
Isn't it beautiful? I am very happy how it has turned out.
Thank you Helinä, Lorenza, Maureen, Anne and Margreet!
I love the work you have done on the block.
The size is 14". 35 cm square.
Now I have to frame it but that will take a while, I think in the Autumn. I have to much other things to do during the summer.
As always you can click on the photo to enlarge.

Her is the fabric book page I made for Kath. ( Greece) Her theme is 'ancient symbols'. I made it on the embellisher from sheep fleece. My inspiration came from the rock carvings along the Norwegian coast. If you are interested you can see more on this link:

I have forgotten to show you my cardigan. I have knitted it between all the other items I made this past winter. It took a while because I didn't have a pattern and had to find out the measurements myself.
I have knitted three sleeves ;) the first one was like the back pattern, when it was half way, I didn't like it at all. Then I started a sleeve with cables , like the front parts, when that was half way I didn't like it either, far tooo much!
At last I knitted the sleeves in reversed stockinette. That was the best option. It is a very heavy cardigan, almost a coat. Used 20 skeins of 50 grams Viking Sport. Size XXL.
Now I have to find 5 large dark-blue buttons which is not so easy here. No shops which sell buttons. Have to look in an other place.

Wingspan 153 cm. 60".
high: 63cm. 25".
I wanted an easy pattern so that I could knit while men were talking about fishing and the weather ;-)
We brouhgt home about 60 kg. cod without bones and skin.
( fileteert torsk, gefileerde kabeljauw). Half part went to our daughters freezer, she was happy too.
Very good fish but we had to drive 850 km. in one day the way home to keep it froozen.
