Pebble ready

My first pebble. I am not sure if there comes second one. It is addictive though..
I used whipped wheel stitch, french knots, raised cup stitch, buttonhole stitch, bullion stitch, cast-on stitch, drizzle stitch.
The size is about a CD. I didn't get a real stone from the shore. I used an CD with batting and sheepfleece.
When you would try to make one for yourself, HERE is the how to do link.

I guess it's a lot lighter than a pebble would be for it's size too!

It is wonderful!
Perhaps the 'Activia' yoghurt pots, the funny little round ones, would make good 'pebbles' too?

You've opened up the possibilities for others, with your creative invention, to have a go themselves, me included!
I feel a whole collection of 'pebbles' coming on, some time in the future...

Thanks for sharing your beautiful work,

Sandie xx

Tjonge, wat een kunstwerk. Echt ontzettend leuk. Fijne zondag, Wieke

Your use of the cd is just fabulous, stiff enough to hold the shape and large enough to give a nice sized pallet. Looks so very nice with your expert stitching!
I am so glad you were able to join in!
